new polaroids

here are some of the latest of my polaroids. I love this green, it's the kind that you see after a long cold winter on dark skeletal trees. There is nothing like spring is there? I hate it that it is so short. It is starting to feel summer already except for the last few days when it felt like monsoon!
and there is nothing like monsoon.

Here are the images finally, of this year's salon. I did a miniature installation for the show. Each panel is ~ 9"x 12". The lighting looks great,i would have liked something a more focused source in a dimmer nook, oh well. And the image furthest below is by Emma Running, the Art Department's sculpture instructor. I love the grandness of it (it was over 12 feet tall!), the decomposed/destructed elements and the runny, rusty color.

Andy's joke reminded Gerard that his sloth balloon was owned by Turkish moths.
Gerard's Lebanese boss had sent him out on business giving his word
that he would keep it looked in the safe but it was all deceit
cause once he had the sloth balloon he traded it
to the moths for a lithograph of "Lady Lamenting On A Lawn Chair"
